“Say hello to my little friend!”

Every now and then, a movie comes along that’s filled with memorable quotes, wether it be inspirational, funny or just plain awesome. We are also treated sometimes with action-movies dropping one-liners like there was no tomorrow.

One of the worlds most famous one-liners of all time; “I’ll be back.”, delivered to us from mr. Numero Uno himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Terminator from1984, has been spoofed and re-used on numerous occasions and I’ve seen it printed on t-shirts and jackets aswell. The same thing happened with Scarface’s infamous quote posted in the title. Just a couple of examples of the extensions a quote can get.

And then we have the inspirational side if movie-quotes. Most often found in sports-movies, the monologues of a greater lenght, created and delivered to inspire hope and strenght to the ones listening.

One of my favourite quotations, is the monologue given by Sly Stallone in Rocky Balboa, when his son blames him for everything that’s happened to him. The heart given to us in that specific scene is astonishing and it stays with you for a long time, much like the monologue he delivers in the end if First Blood.

Some quick thoughts there about quotes. But until next time… Peace out hombrĂ©s!

About hanktango

This is not a serious movie review-blog. I do not review movies in a fashion that certified critics would. I think about stuff when I watch movies, and then write about those thoughts I had during the movie. I sometimes also think about other stuff related to movies, like castings, sequels and a whole bunch of other stuff. Sometimes, I even think about video games and then write about that. The only thing that's really specific to my writing, is that I write to you in the same way I would talk to you about all this stuff. So please, enjoy my writings, and if you were to get offended by anything, I would suggest you unravel that bunched up pantyhose you have stuck up your butt and stop being so sensitive, because honestly... that's Your problem, not anyone elses.
