Ade due damballa (a short Child’s Play-post).

This is what started it all, the voodoo-chant that Charles Lee Ray uses, to transport his soul into a Good Guys-doll. Watching this scene for the first time as a kid, kept me flabbergasted for a good while in to the rest of the movie and when I watch it today, I feel that the utilization of Brad’s voice is more amazing than ever. They really could not have chosen a better actor for the job!

“Ade due damballa. Give me the power I beg of you.
Secoise entienne mais pois de morte.
Morteisma lieu de vocuier de mieu vochette.
 Endonline pour de boisette damballa!
Secoise entienne mais pois de morte.
 Endelieu pour de boisette damballa!
 Endelieu pour de boisette damballa!
 Endelieu pour de boisette damballa!
 Endelieu pour de boisette damballa!”

How’s that for a mid-day snack, huh? Well, time to go to work.. and by work, I mean watch Child’s Play 1 and 2! Catch’ya on the next one… Peace!

About hanktango

This is not a serious movie review-blog. I do not review movies in a fashion that certified critics would. I think about stuff when I watch movies, and then write about those thoughts I had during the movie. I sometimes also think about other stuff related to movies, like castings, sequels and a whole bunch of other stuff. Sometimes, I even think about video games and then write about that. The only thing that's really specific to my writing, is that I write to you in the same way I would talk to you about all this stuff. So please, enjoy my writings, and if you were to get offended by anything, I would suggest you unravel that bunched up pantyhose you have stuck up your butt and stop being so sensitive, because honestly... that's Your problem, not anyone elses. Thank you! View all posts by hanktango
