Well then. As some of you might have picked up along the way, I haven’t really had the “pleasure” of watching Game of Thrones before, mostly because I couldn’t find myself to sit through the first episode. Four times I tried, but got bored each time. On the fifth try, I actually made it through and as all good shows does, this did the same. It hooks you in, compelling you to watch the the next episode, and the next, and the next and so on…. But now, after finishing the first season, I have to say, what’s all the hype about? It’s not really that good a show, if you ask me. It’s dull, slow paced and for a fantasy-series, there’s oddly little swordsmanship, I think. But hey, to each his own, right? And did they really have to kill of Borom.. I mean Sean Bean? Hasn’t he died enough on screen as it is? It’s just rude at this point.
I have to say though, that the dragons in the end of the first season did make me want to continue watching the show. I actually love everything there is about dragons so who knows, maybe the show’ll pick up. In any case, I’m glad I finally gave it a fair shot so all “you” haters around me can stop with the nagging and move on with your own lives.
Just thought I’d throw something quick at you tonight, I’ll be back tomorrow with a review-ish type deal of Timeline, in honor of the late Paul Walker. But until then…. this’ll just have to do for now!
